The distinctive rust-red National Museum next to the Royal Palace was dedicated by King Sisowath in 1920. Over 5000 objects are on display including Angkorian era statues, lingas and other artifacts, most notably the legendary statue of the “Leper King.” Though the emphasis is on Angkorian artifacts, there is also a good collection of pieves from later periods, including special exhibition of post-Angkorian Buddha figures.

I went there with Ussa, Soukha, and Kim Houng…it was just so nice to be with them but I am missing K because I knew if he is with me, he will enjoyed being there being a history fanatic, hehehe! *winks*
Oppssss…entrance fee cost $3.00 for foreigners like me and sad but truth, photography is very limited, camera is not allowed inside which are so undertsandable because items inside are all antiques, real golds, and alike which definitely cost a huge amount of money…*sad* but as a camwhore like me I still manage to get some, hahaha…come look and see! *smile* But too late when I found out that just need to pay another dollar to be able to take pictures, waahhh, if I only knew that’s possible I did pay because inside its beautiful…
