July 26, 2008 was my very first international trip alone, did the first international trip back then in Hongkong but it was with friends…*smile*
Welcome to SINGAPORE…
I arrived Saturdmay morning via Cebu Pacific and meet by a very nice tour guide Alvin and be-friended with the two people who’s on tour, Kuya Deng and Ate Ester—both Pinoys. It was the day when I had my city tour, river cruise, temples, stores and anything that the tour guide can bring us! Of course, I will not fail to leave Singapore without seeing the Lion City, the Merlion and the Esplanade.
I stayed in cheap hotel, Hotel 81 Orchid, people are good to me there but don’t like to go out much because of the area, just don’t like…grrr, don’t know why my travel agent back in Manila booked me there along Geylang, it’s known for red light district which I don’t know but now I knew …breathe in, breathe out. *wink*
Second night, July 28 marks my 2nd day in Singapore and there was a lot of things happened already and it was a hell of fun! I met highschool friends though I just saw them on my last night, the dinner we had was fun and thanks for my Singapore MRT experience, lol. Thanks Posh and Nilo. Bt prior meeting them I went to Singapore Visitor’s Center along Orchard Road alone to get some vouchers regarding their food sampler, hehehe! Then just take a cab and went to Liang Court Shopping Center and meet highschool friends at Novotel, four of us walked from Novotel to the long stretch of Clarke Quay, trying to tour me around to make it up for not meeting me earlier, see the reverse Bungee Jumping, wow, it’s amazing—I wish I have guts to try it!!! Well, crazy shots we had along the way! *hahaha*Then early morning hotel service car and I went to the airport at 3am, whew, feel like still wanted to sleep but no choice, have my breakfast but just gave it to the driver because I am flying via JETSTAR to my next destination that I didn’t know that will changed my life…*happy*
Well, what is so special about Singapore? No pollution, no sweat. I seldom see teenagers. Most of the populations are old people. I was surprised to see old men and women as crews in Burger King and other establishments. Hmm…I think their age ranges from 55 and above and still working! Their airport was like a big big mall, glad I was able to find my way around, thanks for those signs! Hehehe!
My 3-day trip was still a memorable one, was able to think about possibility of things and learn to be independent even for those days…
Didn’t get to places that I wanted to see but hopefully to be back there to have that chance to see it, I even forget the place where we ate and poor me, my camera run out of battery…I would love to go back to Singapore, anytime as long as I have money to support a Singapore trip again and I promise you, I will not be missing Sentosa again! *smile*

Looks like a fun trip! =)
I heard there’s a Disney World in Sentosa now. The last time we went there it wasn’t still there. So there’s one new reason to visit SG again! =)
thanks J…don’t know about disneyland yet but heard that there’s Universal Studio already. yeah, I still have to see Sentosa, hehehe, but maybe not this time, we need to save, save and save—big time!
you’re going there soon right?! see it for me na lang.
I wanna see Universal Studios din pero kelan kaya..We’re also on a saving and planning for a new home mood, so less trips muna.
You stayed in Geylang? Oooh hirap dyan specially if you’re alone.. Pero Che yung pics mo para kang high school..
I’ll also be in Singapore again sa July, 2 day stop din makapunta lang ako sa isang mall masaya na ako lol! then onwards to Manila..
@lui, wow, enjoy, madami na ding magagawa ang two days, ha, i’m sure it will be fun kasi kasama mo din si chinks, can’t wait to see pictures…:)
@Z: hahaha, bata pa naman ako, eh…hmm, kami sa may uwe sa atin, pwede di kita bili ng yarns…:)
pero, super payat ko nga nun, kasi super stress din yan sa work, sunod-sunod iyong out-of-town trip namin that time, tapos nakasingit nga ang sg at kh, ayun, tuloy-tuloy na, hahaha! sumingit na talaga!
