Since yesterday, my little princess has been sick, fever is still the same, still that high inspite of the paracetamol, giving her sponge bath and putting a Kool Fever into his forehead…was able to sleep only at 5am today but woke up at 8am. i wasn’t able to sleep too as well as Kent although around 4am, I let him sleep because he is going to work at 7am…
So, I decided to bring her to her pediatrician, Dra. Marissa, a Pinay doctor here for long time…
Called her assistant and she’s fully-booked already, wahhh, I need to do something so I called Dra. Marissa directly and got an appointment, also thanks to a friend whom I bumped in Lucky Supermarket who told me about their appointment at 5pm…in other words, I go with them, thanks so much Josiet!
Come our appointment time, Isabelle was bit okay but started crying when her pedia started to check her…doctor’s diagnosis is Sytematic Viral Infection rule out dengue fever but will be back on Thursday to have it check again and will do blood testing for dengue fever…I told teething might be the reason but maybe doctors don’t believe much about it…was just have to continue giving her paracetamol, sponge bath and Oral Rehydration Salts (ORS) every after loose bowel movement, also suggested supository if fever goes 39 up again.
Tonight, she’s doing ok…fever is between 37.5 to 38 Celcius only, thanks God, and next day come, Wednesday, she doesn’t get any fever anymore…really doing fine! *happy*
Thursday, we were at doctor’s clinic before 8am, its only me and Isabelle again…and with the follow-up check-up, she’s great, she’s better, no need to do the blood testing and that makes me so happy…*smile*
For now, she doesn’t have fever anymore but still having a loose bowel movement but not so frequent anymore…I do hope that Hydrite and apple juice are helping her together with our love and prayers! *smile*
Oh, by the way, she now weighs 8.4 kilos, not bad…

how’s isabelle na che?
hi lui, wala na syang lagnat…medyo madalas pa din ang pagdumi nya tapos got diaper rash…putting cream na din naman. baka din kasi nanibago sa baby wipes na gamit namin, naubos na kasi iyong stock namin na pigeon, so bili ako ng johnson and johnson dito, ayun…napasama yata! first time nya magka-diaper rash…:) hirap kasi gusto karga, tulog karga, ayaw mahawakan, kada ihi kapag hugas ko water, ayaw pahawak…awa na nga ako, eh, pero medyo umaokey na din naman rash after the whole day namin ilagay iyong cream!
