Last June 12, 2010….we moved from our small apartment to our new place and through those years that Kent was here, he was able to accumulate a lot of things and furniture plus thousands of paper in a dozen of boxes…sounds like big job, isn’t it? Oh, well…to make our life easier, we got removalist, Asian Tigers Transpo International Ltd. to do the job. The process was first to assess how many cubic meters it will be and the estimated weight of our things. Their Country Manager David visited our place and checked it one-by-one, in the end, estimated weight is 4,140 lbs and estimated volume is 18 cubic meters, wherein origin and estimated service cost is $20/cbm. Hmm, not cheap but we think its right and will make our life easier…we sealed the deal!

June 12 arrives, 10 people come to our house plus the supervisor and 2 trucks, wow, we underestimate our things but yeah, the two trucks got so full and  they all just did the packing and putting it on truck for 2.5 hours, pretty fast and all our things was properly packed and labelled! We love it!

We missed to take the picture of the first truck where all the boxes are but here’s a picture of the second truck where big things was loaded!

And the removalist group that helped us and make our life easier…ohh, I am the manager here! *noticed the shirt color?*

A picture with Sinin, a Khmer friend who helped us negotiate with the rent, acted as our real estate agent and got a good deal also, *winks* together with Men Sotha, the landlord, who’s very kind and easy to talk with…we like her! *smile*

Lastly, the man who have all these things through the years…trying to help them, caught him carrying this one! *winks*

Now, we are loving our new home…I will be posting more pictures soon together with our so-called housewarmingssss….different group of dear friends as our first guests! *winks*

P.S. Oppsss…before I forgot, Darah and her daughter Pheary also helped us but my bad, wasn’t able to take a picture of them but they are really big help. *hugs* Well, Jhen still with us that day and it was her last day with us, doesn’t help much but she did good job with Isabelle.

Thanks to all of you who made things easier for us! Very much appreciated!!!
