Today was such a busy day…two friends from work of mine came to visit Cambodia, its Ate Ging and Ate Mimi. The are coming from Saigon after a 2day trip there then arrived around 3pm this afternoon…I picked them up and went straight to their hotel, I let them stayed at Anise Hotel…oh, I offered my place but they preferred to have by their own which I do understand! CJ was with me and Isabelle stayed at home.

Well, from the hotel, we went straight to the Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda, they had fun there and cost $6 each for foreigners, we all paid except for CJ, children are free!

Then we went to the river side to have some river cruising, our tuktuk driver Narin brought us there, only cost $15 for 4 of us for the whole boat for one hour trip…we had a good relaxing time except for the not so-good weather, looks like it will rain…

Our next stop, Elephant Bar at Hotel Le Royal, Ate Ging had pinacolada while Ate Mimi had Pussy Foot, I had Royal Paradise, Kent had MaiTai and CJ got water…*smile* Oh, Pussy Foot and Royal Paradise are both mocktails…we also enjoyed the free Taro Chips with Tomato Salsa Sauce…that’s the reason why I love to go back there, its free during the happy hours!

Lastly, we went to Chayyam Restaurant in Street 278 to have dinner and watched the Traditional Khmer Dance…we all had shrimps except for Kent who had curry!

Night ends with them around 10 but it was great Friday the 13th…I will be seeing them again tomorrow for another half-day fun around town but yes, will be dropping by first to our stall at the fair, Mith Samlanth (Friends) Fun Fair for the set-up…CJ and Ate Mitos will be there at the fair! I am hoping to see my Peluka Sisters too…I miss them!
