A non-civic organization formed by a group of High School classmates, block section pilot class-B from first year up to their fourth year and from Pamantasan ng Makati Technical High School Batch 1997. We graduated Fourth year section B so FOURBEE name of the group was derived combining our year and section.
FOURBEES CHARITY was formed January of last year, 2010. “We wanted to give back what the Government and Taxpayers had contributed in our education especially that until College most of us are Scholars ng Bayan”. We aimed to reach out and deliver help on those areas that was lacking Government Support, we searched our hometowns who needs a little of our aid. We contributed financially to facilitate and fund every Charity Project we have organized.
Our First Project was School Supplies Drive for the Elementary Students in Isabela, Cagayan last March 26-28, 2010. In time for the upcoming school year, we wanted them to experience the feeling of being supported and loved, we still believe like us before “Ang KABATAAN pa rin ang PAG-ASA ng BAYAN!”. We had helped an overwhelming 350 students from 3 areas in Isabela. The First Project was totally memorable.
“Tulong sa Kabataan Project”
School Supplies
Annanuman Elementary School
Ballacayu Elementary School
Minanga Norte Grade 1 Students
350 Total Students
Our Second Project was done last December 04, 2010. The summer project has been successful so we wanted our December Project to be special as well. We searched for an institution that’s housed old people but are not supported by the Government. We thought that “Christmas as much as for the children, it is also the season that we make it special for the Forgotten Oldies”. We found Kanlungan ni Maria in Antipolo. We did the Christmas Decoration in their place, Make-over / Free Haircuts for the Elders, and the main event was the Fourbees Christmas Party / Reunion with them. We offered entertainment, food and gifts as our humble way of sharing our blessings and making them feel the true spirit of CHRISTMAS even without their families. A week after our event, Kanlungan ni Maria was featured in GMA-7. We are happy that at least Kanlungan ni Maria can have more supporters like us, who will help them with their needs, through the participation of the media.
The said two projects was successful and for this year, same as what we have already started, we wanted to give our help to the Elementary Students for their school supplies, church sound system and goods for the elders in Britania Island, Surigao Del Sur. It is the hometown of one of our member/classmate and we really aimed to provide our little help to those areas outside the Metro Manila…those areas who are lacking of government support that we think they will needs us more and will appreciate what we are doing.
May the Lord bless us more to carry out our duties and responsibilities of spreading the values of love and service to our needy co-Filipinos.
Please do support us on our upcoming projets and let us promote goodwill to one another.
