I am now in Singapore…I arrived around lunch time, it was a smooth flight until the pilot announced that we will be delayed because there’s a thunderstorm, it scares me and makes me dizzy because there’s so many air packets, grrr, I hate it.  Posh was there waiting for me, we had cab to my hotel, I am staying in Hotel 81 Orchid, the cheapest hotel I could find, after all, I am not there to stay in the room, I basically need a place to sleep…my place was in Geylang area, known as a red light district but I was surprised this time, no girls nor boys standing on the street, compared to how I saw it more than 2 years ago that makes me scared but now, its clean…makes me happy. :)

Anyway, after I checked-in, I rest for an hour, removed my things on my bag and went out to have my money change while waiting for Posh to be back! She arrived earlier as expected, her appointment was finished earlier, we had lunch together in one of the hawkers place in the street then went to Plaza Singapura to have my bag repair…and it was repaired, thanks God, no extra charge, no waiting time…lucky also maybe because there’s a Filipino staff! *smile* Well, we cannot carry the bag all the way, so we decided to put it back to hotel first then go to Philatelic Museum…the story will be on my next post!

After spending great time at Philatelic Museum, we walked around Fort Canning Road and Stamford Road to the MRT Station, passing Bible House, Peranakan Museum and Stamford House. I also got my EZLink card, yipee, I am all set! Posh and I had dinner at City Link Mall, I had Hainanese Chicken Rice and Veggies. Also, I didn’t let the Bread Talk just passed like that without buying their cheese floss, I missed it, once in my life, I’ve been eating it everyday! Unfortunately, we don’t have that in Phnom Penh…how I wish they have! :) Went back to hotel after…oh, I mailed postcard for myself from Philatelic Museum. I am so looking forward for it next week or so…

Well, I am happy, I have internet now, my first room has no internet connection, so I requested for a transfer so they moved me into higher floors, now I have broadband connection. Although, charge was pretty expensive for me, SGD10/day while local calls will cost SGD1/day, I can also do international call provided I will buy international call card outside…at least I can talk with my family—that’s important! :)

Anyway, here’s a picture of my little place for the next 5days…*smile*

Looking forward for busy days, great time and more fun…:) But I know these days will be more great if I have my kids and K with me…I miss them! :)
