Well, February was such a month for me because couple of days after the motodup accident, I had vesicular skin rash that started on my face then next to my back until it spread all-over my body and head and become itchy raw pockmarks…I don’t know at first that its a chickenpox but the next day, I was thinking already that it is a pox. So, I went to the doctor, found out that it was a chickenpox…confirmed that it was a CHICKENPOX but too late for me to drink the oral acyclovir or Zovirax because should be given 24 hours of rash onset, so all I can do is rest and do some home treatment…*big smile*

I tried a lot just to don’t feel the pain of itchiness and for me to stop scratching, *waaahhhh* I just can’t explained it! I tried to used calamine lotion–a topical barrier preparation containing zinc oxide and one of the most commonly used interventions but feels like not working for me and since I am already taking pain killer (Mefenamic Acid 500mg) for my wounds so maybe it is also helping to prevent some itchiness but I felt that its not all working!

I found on the net that adding a small amount of vinegar to my bath water really helps—I finished two big bottle of vinegar, *sour bath* and then K got me a soap and anti-histamine medicine that the chemist at the pharmacy suggested, I tried the soap and I don’t like it (well, I preferred not to use soap while I still have the killer pox!!!) but the anti-histamine works, after couple of days, I was able to slept well, oh God, thanks a lot!

5 days after, my Tita told me about the “kulantro” (it is a Tagalog word for the coriander) that is widely used in Philippines if you got the virus. By the way, thank you Ate Elma for buying coriander seeds, powder and cilantro leaves for me and visiting me,*hugs* wahhh, you saw me, you saw me and I am so ugly, *rolling on floors*! Boiled a coriander seeds/powder then let it cool and use it for bath which really does good to me, belief that it will make your chickenpox dry faster. Alternately, I am also boiling lime to use for my bath which can make itch lesser and make the pockmarks lighter, also helps and most of all taking a bath/shower almost every 2-3 hours makes me feel better plus lots of love from K, hahaha, *ewww, cheesssyyyy*

I am doing good now, thanks God, gezzz, I really prayed hard those days, *smile* Thanks everyone who in one way or another help me fiind the solution, who wishes for me to get better soon and prayed for my faster recovery—Maraming Salamat Po.

For now, I am watching Isabelle’s reaction about the virus that I got, we were able to give her the varicella vaccine few days after she was exposed with it, hope it works although few days back, I got scared with her red spot but until now no changes, *smile* Hope she will not get it yet, too young for her although good at some point but I don’t think I am ready for her to get sick…*praying* For more information about children’s chickenpox, click HERE!

I thank God that I am doing better now and please don’t leave us now, we need you always! *smile*
