In preparation of the upcoming fair, we met twice this week…to talked about it and let me start my busy Thursday!
Yeah, you read it right…me and my friends here in Phnom Penh will be joining Mith Samlath (Friends in Khmer) Fun Fair on April 26, 2010 and in lieu with it, we started planning and exchanging emails, talking about it informally over our the net but time is running out as we think…so, we’ve finally decided to finalize the things that we will be ordering and such…
I wasn’t sure if I can make it at Brown Coffee because Isabelle has an appointment with Dra. Marissa at 8am for her follow-up check-up…past nine when we got home, let Isabelle settled first and then I have decided to meet them, I need to go out, too, I think…our helpers are making me crazy…grrr!
Anyway, they have settled already which things to ordered and I love it all…Ate Elma also came along and of course, we are off for another lunch date…this time we went back to Lian Rong along Monivong Street…its my chopstick day! Laugh at me but I don’t know how to use it and of course, I want to learn—that’s another story to blog! hahaha! Ok, I was started picking peanuts using a chopstick and I ate using it, slow for me but I am learning…I will get the hang of it later on, I am sure! Oh, I said, its another story…*winks*
I always love dumplings ever since and I just love the food that we got…we are all soooo full!
Then after lunch, we went to the Golden Sorya to make some beads at the Lili Perle Bead Shop…staffs are so friendly and very accommodating, too! Hope J and Z will agree with me on this! Again, this will be another story…*smile* I wasn’t about to make one for myself but after hearing the stories, I decided to get one, I just made something easy and simple, I used purple beads in different shapes, I paid $6 for it, it was fun and just great to be with friends…grr, its another story!
After we was about to look for some stuffs that we will be needing at the fair, so we all went to Russian Market but unfortunately, we wasn’t able to find any! But, another new experience for us, we ate at the stall along the market and we had noodles called bansung yung in Khmer, it is a white noodles with crispy spring rolls which are so delicious together with pork and sprinkled with ground peanuts comes with fresh sugarcane juice called teuk ampao in Khmer …not a good place but the food was delicious, plus the price was so affordable…
5pm when I got back home, courtesy of Josiet…feel lucky that somehow its on their way! Big thanks! Z and Ate lma go together because they are both living in Toul Kork…
Oh, before I end this, Happy Birthday LUI…hope you enjoyed your day as we did! *hugs*
