Hi, everyone…are you hearing about this new movie of MELASON? I know you do, must be the talk-of-the-town now, I bet. Well, it will be shown soon at your favorite theater but for now, here are some information about it.

Star Cinema’s newest offering starring Melai Cantiveros and Jason Francisco, known as “Prinsipe at Prinsesa ng Masas first movie title The Adventures of Pureza – Queen of the Riles. After their phenomenal success as Pinoy’s Big Brother housemates and starring in top-rating TV shows, the two reel and real life love team, popularly known as Melason gets their first in this new movie.

According to President Mark, Star Cinema had their Bloggers Night for the movie, oh, God, how I wish to be there….he said that during the event, the bloggers were able to watch the official trailer of the movie and all of the guests including the stars gave their non-stop and roaring laughter that echoed all through out the venue, must be fun to be there! I can imagined how loud it is, hehehe! But since I am living out-of-the-country now, all I can do is get updates from Melason group a Facebook. Although I was able to watched the whole PBB that time when we still have TFC, the government cut the TFC for some unknown reason but we will be subscribing for sure once it will be available in the country.

And to give you a glimpse of what “The Adventures of Pureza – Queen of the Riles” is all about here’s the official trailer that was being shown that night, that Mark mention and shared to me.

This will be their first big movie break as Melai and Jason takes the limelight this time as major lead stars. With Melai and Jason’s witty real life character, I would say I’m really looking forward to see them act in the big screen. In fact, the Prinsesa ng Masa, Melai, gets the title role no less in what could be the birth of another ace comedienne. And the whole country couldn’t be any happier. I am excited to see the movie…but how? Well…

The story revolves with Pura, (Melai) who plays the comedic role of a bubbly, caring, kind-hearted, very hardworking “dakilang ate” who wants nothing but only the best for her one and only beloved brother, Ulam, and uplift their dismal life. In all her endeavors, Pura’s best friend, Ruben (Jason Francisco), has always been by her side. Pura and Ruben then stumbles into a one-time big time opportunity to usher a Brazilian model who manages to escape them. With this unfortunate turn of event, Pura steps into the role … literally. She is now the model Pureza Mayriles! Basking in the promise of a better fortune plus a serendipitous love, little did Pura know that she has dragged herself into a life-threatening mess? Now running for their lives, Pura and Ruben has to detangle themselves from the dangers that faces them and how!

Also Pres. Mark, mentioned that when MELASON was asked why still remain popular among ex-PBB housemates. The couple responded by saying that the secret for staying until now was their fans that quickly seconded by Direk Soxy. The veteran Director also told that he was amazed because he only seen fans like this after the time of Nora Aunor, havig said all these and as a fan of MELASON and official member, it just nice to hear from then that the fans are the one making their career alive and they are appreciating it all.

Naturally funny if not hilarious on and off camera, Melai and Jason will definitely delight the audience and win their hearts again and again…I’m actually excited for this movie!

Veteran Director Soxie Topacio helms this co-production movie of Star Cinema and Sine Screen. Now let’s all have a rollicking good and funny time and let us all laugh till we drop! Excited much and I know this will be a blockbuster movie!

Lastly, as I have mentioned earlier that I am a member of MELASONS, yipee, you was wondering how, right? Well, back still when I am stil working with Napolcom because our dear officemate cum friend was the MELASONS President, so, I joined aside from the fact that I love MELASON and watched them thru TFC during their PBB days…thanks to the President Mark for making me as one official member!

Anyway, promotional activities for Pureza will be as followed:

July 2 – Mall Show at Robinsons Place General Santos

July 9 – SM Bicutan

And also on July 9. the cast and the ad prom people will be riding a bus from the terminal going to Baclaran, then later on they will also ride a boat at the pier (Negrs Navigation) to aa somehow the same as mall shows.

July 10 – SM Novaliches

Provincial Tours in Cebu and Davao to be announced later, (I will update this once I got details.)

Also, TV guestings will be everywhere around ABS-CBN shows particularly in ASAP.

And PREMIERE NIGHT is on July 12 at Cinema 6 of SM Megamall…

Showing in 100 theaters is on July 16. Don’t miss it…
