…at the party!
Yes, at the party…you read it right, at Isabelle’s 2nd birthday party! *smile* I put few things around to add some color into our house!
To start it, I made a dozen wands for kids to enjoyed, I printed the star glue it together with a stick, I used chopstick and add some pink and purple ribbon! I got the wand printables for free at FreePrintables site! This is also good party craft activity or just any day craft project for kids to enjoy.
Then we put up some 3D Castle that I bought in one of the bookstore here…CJ did it and I help in between baking.
I wanted to have some tissue chandeliers but we ended up having flowers made of pink, purple and white crepe papers that we put around, I got a roll of it at O’russey Market…and Ate did this!
I like flowers and I bought these flowers in shades of pink and purple at the local market. I am not sure what’s the name of these2 kinds of flowers that I mixed.
I also have some party favors for kids…I actually lost the picture of some items and the packed items itself. I bought some little bags in shades of pink at IBC bookshop here, I got a dozen for $3, got some princess pens, colorful bracelet, pearl necklace and coloring books! I initially bought 6 sets of each but went back to O’russey to make it a dozen.
Tied some pink ribbons in our chairs…
…and I made these set of utensils with a touch of pink. I wrapped into a pink table napkin a set of spoon, fork and knife that can kids can used, I just put the spoons, fork and knife in a wine glass. I embellish table napkin with a pink napkin ring with a colorful jewel at the center that I got at FreePrintables.
We also have some pink balloons in a pink balloon stick…that I also bought at O’russey! CJ did it with the help of Ate.
And lastly, or I am still missing some, it all started with a pink shades of invitation, a Princess Party Invitation that I posted earlier but if you missed it, here is it…you can get it free at PrintPicnic…
Since I mentioned O’russey for few times…it is a local market here where you can get things at lower cost , way cheaper if you’ll buy by 6 or a dozen. For example a pack of balloons in IBC bookstore cost $6 or so, but I got mine in $3.50 while the stick was for a 100 pcs cost $8 in IBC but it only cost $5 and since I bought half, I only paid $2.50 which in IBC bookstore I cannot bought in half. I really saved a lot in buying there, thanks to a dear friend Ussa for helping me around, we went there twice. Ussa’s the first Cambodian friend I have here in Cambodia and until now she’s still a great friend.
And for more of pink, please visit my post about her party, Isabelle’s Birthday Party…I shared some free printables link there that you can use for your kids birthday.
