…and this is for you, baby!

Daddy and I are both happy, you’re officially in the tiny tot age…they say its the “terrible two’s” but I say that you’re in the stage of being a beautiful two, growing into a lovely toddler like Cinderella changing from a simple girl to a princess…I guess its a matter of perspective,, and the more we believe in the best in you, the more we’ll be amazed at how wonderful you can really become. As the saying goes, “What you think is what you create!”

Daddy and I let you do things you like to do, but there’s are certain limits…you’re a tough girl. We know you can handle things by letting you try, and we patiently wait for you until you get it right. That’s teaching you patience in life that you will need when you get big! Patience is a virtue.

You learn things so easily by watching, you can now sing a few songs and follow dance steps.  You know how to react to things.  I am sure it is just easy to teach you, you’re learning few Khmer and Filipino words, too, that makes me and Daddy laugh sometimes. You follow what we say…like whenever I asks Daddy, “Mahal, are you ok?” you will repeat the same line… and always give us smile!

Whenever you feel like there’s something dirty on your face when we are eating, you always asks for tissue paper…whenever you want to blow your nose, you asks for tissue. What always amazes me is your love of fruits and vegetables…which makes Daddy and I happy. You can eat cherry tomatoes  like eating peanuts. Mangosteen is your favorite nowadays, but you always love to try other fruits and vegetables.

You always asks for pen and paper, you love to doodles and draw lines…you enjoy it everytime I hold your hand and we’re drawing flowers together! Also, you’re spending more time with me or Daddy, and we are happy about that.  Mommy has time for you as always! You enjoy the hide-and-seek games that we are playing and by hiding under the sheets when Daddy’s coming inside our room.  Most of all you enjoy the tickle times.  I love to hear your laughter. And of course, how can we forget that dancing is now your favorite…Daddy’s now have a dancing partner! Reading is now our habit and you love to learn, you have started asking things…if you see something you ask  “what is this?” and “what is that?” You also enjoyed watching your favorite music from our laptops…Daddy started it, and now every night the music is always on! You enjoy lots of hugs, too!

My list goes on …anyway, our prayers are with you always and you will still enjoy learning new things in life, we love to teach as you go along. Lastly, I will be forever grateful to God, you are a BLESSING that God gave us two years ago. You came by surprise, you truly changed things and we are happy that He gave you to us! You are indeed, God’s promise of JOY.
