Jes is Turning 30…so Let’s  Have Some Party!

I come across with this giveaway on FB and now, I’m here joining in…and answering her question: “What is your memorable birthday experience and how did you celebrate it?”

Like the birthday celebrant JES, my memorable birthday party is my 18th birthday party…although I just wanted a simple one or just gave me a money thing, my family insisted to have a party…to make the story short, I got the party I’ve been wishing—family and friends are there except for one special person! I had everything prepared and organized. My friends and I were practicing for days for my coutillon…and lucky we pulled it right! I had 18 candles, 18 roses and 18 gifts…wear 3 different gowns and my escort then was my long-time college crush and eventually few days after became my first boyfriend. Lolz. It wasn’t grand as what you’re thinking but having everyone I wish to be there was there except for a mum (which is different story to tell but still she’s part of my 18 candles, thru phone during the time of the celebration)…makes me think I am lucky and blessed to have them around. I feel great then and no words can describe how happy I am.

And if I have another one that’s really special  that I am now a mum and wife, it was my 29th birthday…I have hubby and my two kids around and we just celebrated it queitly at home.
