It all started with these few strawberries that I got last Thursday…that gave us one of the sweetest weekend eating that we had inspite of…so, read on!
I was about to make strawberry pancakes but the self-raising flour that we have wasn’t enough anymore! Then I just thought of making strawberry crepes but when I searched online for the recipe of it, usually need cream cheese and we don’t have…what to do?
I sliced those strawberry already, my son said let us just make strawberry shake but I think the strawberries are not enough for all of us. BUT when I look in our pantry, I saw Betty Crocker Chocolate Moist Mix, so I just thought of making Moist Chocolate Cake and topped it with strawberry. But again, I tried to check my cake recipe minibook and found out about Moist Jam Cake…just need to mix strawberry jam into the cake mixture and that’s it…yipee, sounds delicious, isn’t it?
So, I did that and this is how it looks like after whisking, baking and waiting!
Oppsss…looks good, noh? But I still did wrong, I mixed all the strawberry jam with the cake mixture, I forgot about the extra jam that I need to brush over the surface of the cake. So, we just brushed maple syrup on top. hehehe!
Everyone loves it, well, maybe they have no choice, hahaha, but we enjoyed eating it for our afternoon snack!
So, this is our weekend eating adventure…what’s yours this weekend? And I am also linking this with Yummy Sunday for the first time!

Busy Monday for me as usual, for us…did my post office routine and grocery shopping, then in the afternoon attended CJ’s afternoon class “Project Afternoon Tea”…plus I have!
