I always see this along the street where we stay, although I have an idea what it is because we have all these snacks in Philippines. But out of my curiosity, I bought some to try and taste. I cannot speak Thai yet, so I just point all the fried sweet snacks that he is selling and I gave 20 Baht. And this what I got…
…he gave me few of each 4 snacks he has on his cart.
Fried Sweet Banana and Sweet Potato…battered and deep fried bananas and sweet potato into crispy crunch! Sweet Potato Balls and Sesame Sweet Potato Ball with something inside but I don’t know what it is. (Update: I asks hotel staff and they said its soya bean inside.) Well, I hope I got the name at least right!
Anyway, we all think, its all yummy. Kids and I had fun eating it. But I hope I can explain it more about these snacks…its my first buy of street food after a month of being here and looking forward to try more but yeah, I know I need to be careful.
