Last Wednesday, I turned 30 years old…we had a quiet and simple birthday celebration. A day before my birthday, K gave me pink roses and on my birthday he brought home a cake but did not let me opened it after we get back home after eating dinner. (will do separate post about it)

Anyway, when he got home from work…kids and I were ready already for dinner. We just thought of going to Emporium and look around for possible place to dine. So, we went and ended up at the New Food Hall where Nippon Kai’s located. We had dinner in a Japanese Restaurant…

The place looks posh but it is just located at the food hall area overlooking a part of Sukhumvit Road Skyline…just lovely!

Here’s the menu and the food that we got…

Stir-Fried New Zealand Mussels with Butter Set

Salmon Steak Set

Deep-Fried Pork with Rice Egg

Watermelon Shake

Food was really yummy and the waiting time was not that long, service was really fast and we love what we had. Staffs are nice and friendly, they even gave Isabelle a small elephant toy. And here’s my three guests…they made my day awesome!

I am now officially 30…and I’m loving it, its my birthday again next week, hahaha!

Lastly, me with the two kiddos…we had a great night. Thanks Dad, CJ and Isabelle  for making my day complete! I love you all…thanks God for all the blessings!

It was a great day, a lovely birthday!

I’m sure you love the New Zealand Mussels. I’m from New Zealand and that explains it. We have the very fresh mussels in the world… proud much hehe! I’m glad you have tried it. Isn’t it big compared to our mussels? I think everything’s big around here, they said it must be because of the weather. Belated Happy Birthday!
