Joining late and my first post for the month of May, oh, where I have been in this Earth for those 5 days…been busy with my kiddos, Isabelle’s been sick but she’s getting better, few marks of rashes still but fading away! Thanks God she’s doing well now, it scares me because we thought its dengue then measles but then its German measles also known as a 3-day measles — is an infection that primarily affects the skin and lymph nodes, and is mild disease in children, so nothing to worry but hey, I’m a mum plus its just me around, Daddy’s not in town!
Anyway, happy to share some pies and pasta with steamed veggies for you…I got two pies from Pelican Pies and hubby had them for two consecutive days for lunch and he likes it!
Pepper Pie with Alfredo pasta ans steamed vegetables…
I got the pies at Pelican Pies and then made the pasta by just cooking the San Remo Alfredo pack according to its stovetop direction, then simply boil peas, drain and saute in butter; add diced tomatoes the stir in half of the prepared Alfredo pasta. Then I steamed some frozen veggies and its hubby’s lunch.
Chunky Beef Pie with Alfredo Pasta and steamed veggies
Next day meal was using the remaining half of the Alfredo Pasta pack without added veggies then boiled some frozen veggies plus the Chunky Beef Pie and other lunch meal was served with love.
And other pie meals are as follows…which K enjoyed!
Chicken Mushroom Pie with Chicken and Bacon Pasta
I partnered Chicken Mushroom Pie with Chicken and Bacon Pasta that I made…end with another lunch meal served! By the way, you can get the Chicken and Bacon Pasta recipe here…
This happens when I am lazy to cook some more, 2 pies in a row…Chili Beek and Chunky Beef Pies.
They also have Chicken Curry pie, Steak and Onion, pie and more. By the way, Pelican Pie here in Phnom Penh is located at #4D, Street 278, Phnom Penh (023214540) and what’s nice is they have loyalty card, for every 9 pies you bought, you’ll get 1 free. 1 pie cost $3.00 and it comes with different kinds!
Linking with Food Trip Friday and Food Friday…have a great weekend, everyone!
