Tomorrow will be Friday again and sharing with you my Food Trip Friday for this week…Indian food this time. Weekend is the time family usually go out to have lunch somewhere but last weekend was different, we just stayed home all Saturday and Sunday…being home means good time but a lot of cooking which I am enjoying these days but thanks to food delivery service here in Phnom Penh, it helps. *winks*

But first, I made a Beef Kebabs that look like this after threading ingredients in the skewers, I love its colors…

…and CJ’s helping me to do it, he did his own kebabs and he used pork belly…:)

Its just easy, all you need is a bamboo skewers—you can soak it in cold water for up to 30 minutes to stop them burning while the kebabs are cooking, rump steak and or pork belly cut into small square, cherry tomatoes, pineapple slices and zucchini will be good to but we don’t have during that time, instead we used square slices of red and green bell pepper and put some onion slices. Oh, be sure you have some barbecue sauce and you’re all set…

First, thread the piece of onion, pineapple, cherry tomato, bell pepper, and rump steak/prok belly onto each skewer. Just repeat it so that you have two sets of each ingredients per skewer or its up to your preference. Then brush with some of the barbecue sauce. Heat a large, non-stick frying pan and cook the skewers for 5-10 minutes, or until cooked through, turning once and basting with the remaining barbecue sauce. You can serve it with rice…and we did.

But we added 2 Indian dishes from Annam (Indian Restaurant) here in Phnom Penh. It is located in 1C Street 282, this is the same street of our apartment before, can call them at 099-926661, 089-506661 or 023-726661 and they are open 6days a week from 11am to 11pm but they are closed on Tuesday. Good place to try Indian food and their delivery service was good, got it on time and the order process was just easy! I am happy.

Anyway, we had Tandoor Murgh, it is a full spring chicken marinated in yogurt and special blend spices, cooked in tandoor and it was yummy, not that spicy so CJ and Ate was able to like it…

Another order is in the mutton menu, we got Gosht Rogan Josh, it is mutton cubes cooked in freshly ground spices and tomato gravy. Its soooooo spicy but I love it, its not me, my Peluka sisters will be surprise with this but that Saturday night I am craving for something spicy so I thought of it and it was so yummy, I love it!

And lastly, sharing with you my first plate…that means there’s second and third, hahaha!

Happy Friday everyone…linking this with Food Trip Friday, Friday Potluck and Food Friday…and visit the site for more yummylicious post that will surely make your day great! *hehehe*
