Happy Monday, everyone! Its a busy one, went to our travel agent to renew CJ’s visa here in Penh, checked post office box if we got mails and lucky to got some cards *happy postcrosser*, shopping for some vegetables and seafood in the market, and so on!

But as promised on my previous post that I will be sharing the recipe of Double Chocolate Chunk Bars…that I saw from a pack of Betty Crocker Double Chocolate Chunk Cookie Mix! I made a bar instead of cookies, so here it is…

Ingredients:

1 pouch of (1lb. 1.5 oz.) Betty Crocker double chocolate chunk cookie mix

1/4 cup of vegetable oil

2 tablespoons of water

1 piece of egg

Method:

1. Heat oven to 350F .  Stir cookie mix, oil, water and egg in medium bowl until soft dough forms. If dough is too stiff, stir in additional 1 to 2 teaspoons water but I did not do that anymore, the dough was just fine!

2. Then I transferred/spread the dough into a ungreased square aluminum foil (its my first time to bake using aluminum boil so I am bit scared because our oven is just convectional oven).

3. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or just until  set, cool completely and enjoyed eating. (I finished the 25 minutes.)

And I cut it into small bars…it is delicious and the chocolates was just right, I would love to do it again.

We ate it together with Caramel Custard (Leche Flan)…it was a sweet Saturday for us!

And sharing this with Yummy Sunday and Savory Sunday

Wishing you and your family a great week ahead…and thanks for visiting, very much appreciated!
