…Isabelle’s 2nd Birthday Party!
I did some market hopping looking for some stuffs that we still don’t have, most items I need was in our pantry already, yes, I decided to just do whatever we have at home, less buyng and less expenses…I’ve decided to have a buffet and do something like I did last Easter for our Easter Sweet Table and had some pasta, cakes and finger foods for everyone to enjoy.
Today, I planned to bake all the cakes, later I will…I will do Almond Chocolate Cake, Cookies and my second attempt with Creme Fudge Brownies (but this time I have more Oreo cookies) and my first-ever Rainbow tiered birthday cake using a white chiffon cake, 5 different colors with both pink on bottom and top to make it 6-layer, with strawberry frosting and will be sprinkle with some pink color chocolate chips then will put a princess crown and mini-buntings of her name…sounds delicious, isn’t it? I really hope I can do justice! hehehe!
By the way, the Rainbow Cake will be hopefully look like this…and I got to learn how to do it from here and here but I still did my own version by just using ready-made cake mixture and strawberry frosting and filling in between! Lol. Anyway, thanks to these two sites for sharing on how to do it plus it inspired me make one for my little girl…

Well, hope it will be a success and can’t wait to post my own rainbow cake, afterall, I only have one chance, I can’t afford to buy few more cake mixture to do it again if I failed! Anyway, I will also do other stuffs that have something to do with the party…like the pork spring rolls!
Now, I am ready to bake in few hours…have 4 cake mixtures for 3 cakes already, lots of eggs, vegetable oil, chocolate-vanilla-strawberry frosting (I will be using 3 different frosting for 3 cakes), almonds, oreo cookies, and pink chocolate chips!
Gotta keep going, have to remove few things at the fridge to give space for all the cakes…and I am excited! See you all at the party…hehehe!

How many hours did you need for this cake? It looks very good. Lg Tina
hi tina…thanks for your comment. it took me 10 minutes for each layer and made 6 layer, total of 1-hour for the baking itself…i only have conventional oven, so i am putting one at a time and have only one baking pan for the size that i want so lots of waiting time…pre-heating plus cooling the cake before removing from a pan takes time too. maybe around 3hours total for everything. will be posting my finished product soon!
Wow…ang hirap naman ng napili mong design!! It’s cute! I hope I can also bake the same. Looking forward to see your finished product. Patikim ha?
