Between 3rd and 4th week of October last year, CJ brought home a single seed of pumpkin, his teacher gave it to him and he is saying that he needs to plant it…you know what’s my reaction? I am skeptical about it, how can that single seed grow, but anyway he pushed with that, he planted it in one of the pots in our garage together with a jasmine plant, sharing pot with each other! hehehe!

Guess what after many months, weeks and days of waiting…we didn’t knew its growing under and it started to grow and grow and grow! I was surprised, I actually forget about it already and this is how it looks like last month (when this picture was taken)…

And just today, it is like this and have flowers buds already…

We love to eat pumpkin and we can’t wait to see even a flower of it growing here, out of that single seed…whether this one survives as days go by, I think CJ did  great already for believing that it will grow, maybe he has green thumb! He said the one he planted in school is doing good also and he is happy about this, he is proud to see that it is getting bigger and longer each day! Well, he needs to plant more, I guess, maybe will have more fresh vegetables in the future from his mini-garden! What you think?
