Last March 31, we had a meeting with CJ class adviser, Teacher Emma and got the chance to see their classroom…we brought Isabelle with us.

Anyway, K had a talked with Teacher Emma while I am inside the classroom busy with Isabelle because she’s so busy going around the four corners of the classroom, lots of things that interest her, I am listening somehow over what the teacher was saying…and same as Teacher Karen, she was pleased to have CJ as her student. Anyway, here’s a copy of the report that his teacher gave to us…I also posted this here!

Carlos has excelled in a wide range of areas this term. He presents himself as motivated, hard-working and dedicated student. He is acquiring leadership skills and is encouraged to solve problems with his peers in calm manner. He is continuing to read at an advanced level and should apply expression when he is reading out loud. Carlos writing sentences independently and he should aim to apply proof reading strategies, with less prompting. In Mathematics, Carlos has been able to link concepts with real-world situations. He needs to continue practice multiplication tables. In our studies of farms and farms animals, Carlos created an independent project on sheepdogs, demonstrating an excellent understanding of the topic. In art, Carlos enjoyed the three-dimensional nature of making a miniature farm. Carlos enjoys being a member of a team in sporting activities and applies strategy and maturity to his decision. -Teacher Emma

And their works around the classrooms…

Its always great to talked with his teacher regarding his improvement in school this term, he did well and he made us proud. One parent even said that Carlos was the best boy in the class…makes me smile.

And here’s the little girl…enjoying her time in school, she did those blocks, she’s into building things these days!
