Carlos as what his friends in school fondly calling him will be 8 tomorrow, in few minutes he will and as a mum, I am excited for him. But bad me, I am doing my last minute preparation now…this morning, I have to rush to Blooms Cafe to asks if they can still accommodate me for even a small cake but unluckily they cannot, they will be closed from Friday to Tuesday because its Water Festival here. So, instead of cakes, I just got some cute cupcakes, got a total of 2 dozens, its in our fridge now but they said will be fine still on Saturday. So, what you think about this cupcakes?!

Also, I need invitation for his party on Saturday, another last minute…and I can’t find any ready-made but was able to find template online, which I forgot the link where I got it… so I just bought papers and printed it in internet cafe, add some color and life into it. Here’s the output of my not-so creative mind…

Since he wanted to have some cake in school, I just thought of giving out a snack pack, so another last minute to-do was to print its label, got it from Martha Stewart site…got some loot bags from IBC and put juice, lychee pudding jelly, custard cake, chocolate coin and a marshmallow inside.

These are the things that keeping me awake until now…I started this almost midnight but I am stopping every now and then to do things, almost 2 am now and I am still awake…CJ’s now 8…I am a proud mum and I love him so much! Well, I know it will be fine tomorrow…I just need to buy cake and I am off to school, should be there before 9am…for now, Happy birthday CJ…mwah!
