Last March 29, we attended the Parent Teacher Conference with CJ’s Afternoon Class Teacher. The result of the meeting with Teacher Karen was really good that I posted on my previous post and you can read it HERE. Anyway, here’s Teacher Karen assessment report for Carlos…will be sharing it again!
And after the meeting, we got an invitation regarding the class “Project Afternoon Tea” saying that the Footprints School Junior Master Chef end of term “Cook Off” will be on April 4, 2011 at 3:15pm. They used to watched Junior Master Chef Australia so they got the name from there. The class will be showing foods they cook and made. It is RSVP so we confirmed our attendance right away, well, we don’t like to miss school events like that.
Anyway, April 4 comes and we attended the Project Afternoon Tea…5 out of 6 students have parents, only one who doesn’t have and I feel sorry and sad for her, she really sad, she actually asks teacher few times why her Dad is not coming, well hope next time her Dad can make it. Here are some pictures during that party…it was fun and really nice to meet CJ’s classmates parents.
Here are the foods that the kids cooked and prepared:
Clubhouse Sandwich
******
Quiche
******
Cheeseballs
******
I forgot the name…sorry!
******
Watermelon Slushie
******
Oranges
******
And the eating started, all of us got a small plate of each food on the table and a slushie. The kids are the one who also prepared the table and served us a yummy delight.
After eating, the kids got some surprised from Teacher Karen, each one got a recipe book and everyone was happy! Also, each one was ask what they learned…everyone answered and Teacher commented that Carlos really did well this term and helping other classmates with computer and reading which I and K happy to hear!
CJ did well this term and we are proud of you as always, keep up the good work!
