CJ and Isabelle attended Kuniki’s 8th Birthday Party here in Phnom Penh last Sunday, March 20, 2011…it was held at ICE Restaurant—a popular Khmer restaurant serving good vegetarian food at very reasonable price. Kuniki is CJ’s classmate in the morning class, he is half-Japanese (mum) and half-Cambodian (dad) and he speaks both language as well as English, he is great!
The birthday boy Kuniki (left) with CJ (right) last year…oppsss, yes, last year, wasn’t able to have their picture taken last Sunday…
The party and the fun that we had, there’s also games that kids really enjoyed and boys wons all of the games…lucky, ha!
The foods…actually, there’s a lot but I am just shy to take photos, so these two are just near where we are comfortably sitting!
By the way, his cake and its very delicious…I guess its from “The Shop.”
And the most surprising part of the party is the Magic Show…that Kuniki’s mom did—Hayashi did it! She’s so good with it and made kids and kids-at-heart stood in awe with her talent. After the party I asks her how did she learned it, she said by just watching it on tv and then they bought some materials to do the magic. She’s actually not doing it as a job but do perform for family and friends, then she told me if you have party I can do it for you for free…hmm, sounds really great, but I don’t think will have party soon. Anyway, thanks Hayashi for your kindness.
It was a fun afternoon with other kids and glad to meet other parents…Thank you Kuniki and family for inviting us—its really a pleasure to be in your only son’s party!
