My Uncle’s family who’s based in Antipolo gave us Suman (sticky rice roll) and Coco Jam from Antipolo City last Christmas…I love this too and I am happy I can have it while we are still in Manila, this is something I missed living overseas.

It is soaked glutinous rice mixed cooked in salt then wrapped in buri palm leaves, the long leaves is wrapped spirally. Then steamed in coconut milk, it is usually dip in sugar or better in a coconut jam! It just taste so delicious, one of my favorite Filipio snacks.

Thanks so much Tita Emy and Tito Boy for the pasalubong…

Linking with Yummy Sunday of Perfectly Blended…

When we came to our place in Makati City, lots of kids were using bike and Isabelle’s been borrowing from neighbors ( since I don’t have younger cousins at her age and CJ’s bike was given by my mom to others ) every time she will go out in the street…

But on our third day in Manila, Isabelle got something she like…my grandfather, so her great grandfather bought her a bike and what makes her smile more is its pink, she loves it to the max and can’t stopped thanking Lolo Pitong for buying her one while we are in Manila!

My father, her grandfather whom she’s calling Papa (Lolo Lito) enjoyed teaching her how to bike. My dad is also the one who taught CJ. Anyway, in her couple of days of trying—she learned it quick, made her more happy!

And here we are with Lolo Pitong…

Unfortunately, we didn’t bring it here in Bangkok…but what great is, when we come back, she can still ride with it.

Again, THANK YOU po Lolo Pitong!

Linking with Pink Fridays hosted by Mommy Rubz…

I’m happy to be back with PF!

Have a great weekend, everyone!

I love being one of CPCS! I had great and wonderful 5 years working with CPCS (Crime Prevention and Coordination Service) of NaPolCom (National Police Commission), happy that I become a part of the service even for a short period of time!

So, last December 21, 2011…my kids and I went to their annual Christmas Party. I miss them so much and I am so happy I visited them again, well, I will always will if I am in Manila and have time! I really feel the warm welcome when me and my kids enter the door…priceless!

Here are few photos I’ve taken during the afternoon snacks…

…and exchange gift part, I had so much fun. I miss them! Did I say it how many times already? Huh!

This is my whole division back then…

…and here we are in their award-winning Christmas Decor, you guys never fails when it comes to that, no doubts!

Isabelle has a lot of Godparents there so, she and CJ got some gifts and envelopes, thanks to all of you! You all guys rocks! See you again next time…

Yes, old friends…its been 19 years after we got to meet-up again…they are my elementary classmate and dear friends, a big part of my childhood! Thanks to Facebook, we get connected again.

So, one afternoon during our vacation…I meet them to have coffee at Strabucks, Fully Booked—lots of stories being shared and lots of laughter afloat. Happiness!

Happy to see Yoj and Ron again…

…and here with Kuki, my college friend partner who’s my friend too and happened to be their good friend also! Small world, isn’t it?

Well, I hope it will not be the first and last…looking forward for more coffee to brew and shared among us! I really appreciate the time you’ve given and shared to see me! I will see you again next time.

Anda Sima’s my father’s mother…she’s 88 years old and  great mom, grandmother and great-grandmother to all of us!

Around October to November, she’s been in and out at the hospital, even come to a point that the end is near but prayers of everyone helps, thanks God!

Its one of the many reasons I wanted to went back to Philippines last holiday, to see her and of course, see my grandfather from my mom’s side, they are both in their 80′s.

Anyway, back to Anda Sima…my kids and I visited her on our 3rd day and I’m happy to see her! She’s so fragile already and have oxygen on the time we arrived. She lived in Biñan, Laguna…I am happy to travelled all the way there to see her!

with Tita Nene…

We also went there last Christmas and spend the whole afternoon with my father’s side family. Kent was there and as always, K spend time chatting and listening to her!

We left Manila 9th of January, Monday to be back here, so 2 days before our departure date…we visited her. On our first and second visit, Isabelle’s scared to her, because of oxygen I bet but on our third day, Isabelle made her smile…my little girl finally did bless to her and sang her some nursery rhymes. Made me happy!

with Papa…

We went there to see her to say we are leaving again and say goodbye, we will see her again next time we will be home! That’s a promise! And as always, I wish her a happy days and good health! I always admire her how she brought up all 10 kids, I love her dearly.

…in Manila was of course, spend time with my family. I am just happy that Isabelle knew them better now, no long crying and dramas…thanks to Skype!

CJ missed his old dog Darold, so as soon as he woke up, he checked it out—who is still lovely and now position at the back of our house while the new dog name Trixie’s in the front gate which the kids enjoyed playing too!

Also before we went out for some shopping, Isabelle and I had our manicure and pedicure, one of the many things I missed being home where you can just called them to do it in your house…and here’s my little princess turn!

Yes, you’ve heard it right…we also went to SHOPPING, hehehe! I never shopped like we did then for such a long time. Lol. Thanks to Tita Lyn and Mama for taking care of our shopping needs, hehehe. So, here’s Isabelle in one of the small cart inside the department store…

It is just so nice to be back home then…but now we are back here in our home in Bangkok and doing my late post about our Manila trip, please bear with me!

Have a great day, everyone!
