…from Beard Papa, I’ve been seeing this store around but I never had the chance to tried it until today when I was looking for something to bring for the kids.

I got two of their product for take-away, I got their Eclair and Blueberry Cheese Cream Puff…

Beard Papa’s (ビアード・パパ) is an international chain of cream puff stores started in Japan by the company Mugino Co., Ltd. (株式会社麦の穂).They have hundreds of stores in Japan and wordlwide. They are famous with choux pastry shell filled with whipped cream custard available in vanilla, chocolate and specialty flavors.

Well, kids love it. Infact, I was not even able to take picture of the eclair. But yes, they like the taste and I am sure I will be buying it again, it will be one of the request next time I will be going to the supermarket!

Have a great Friday, everyone! :)

I am enjoying Thai desserts because it is somehow same with Philippine desserts, made of combination of rice, coconut milk and sugar…and usually very sweet but can adjust it up to the one who’s making it!

For now, I will be sharing something that we got at the fifth floor of Emporium Mall…Jelly with Coconut Cream Topping. A popular and simple Thai jelly topping with coconut cream and can be adjusted into various tastes and colors such as Pandanus leaf-scented, Fruit or Coffee Jelly.

Do you think its delicious? Yes, it is delicious…I actually ate it all, my kids then was just too busy playing at the park but of course, they still have some snacks that I bought when they are done! I am not that bad, hehehe!

Well, as I searched online on how they made it, I found this good recipe from ThaifoodDB, quite similar…

Thai Recipe Ingredients

1. 1 pack (50 grams.) agar-agar Powder

2. 16 cups water

3. 9 cups sugar

4. 1/4 cup concentrate pandanus leaves

5. 2 kg. (to make 5 cups coconut cream) grated coconut meat

6. 1 tbsp. salt

7. 20 pandanus leaves

8. 1 tbsp. rice flour

Thai Sweet Preparations

1. Mix agar-agar and water. Bring to boil until the agar-agar dissolves. Add sugar and 10 pandanus leaves. Boil for another 5 minutes. Strain and set aside.

2. Mix 8 cups of the mixture in step.1 with the topping. Bring to boil. Set aside.

3. Boil the rest of the mixture. Add pandanus-leaf water. Pour into the dried tray (about 3/4 of the tray.)
