…first real cinema in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
Though we’ve bit late about trying it, we are still very happy that they have now cinema here. Locals and expats are excited about this, I’m sure!
Ticketing area, we bought our ticket a day before…but can buy 3 days ahead of the screening date. Staffs are really nice, I have few questions and it was answered. Well, I hope they have online booking or you can buy your tickets online too, because going there twice was not that great!
CJ and I watched Transformers III: Dark of the Moon in 3D…its CJ’s first 3D movie, so I bought VIP seats to give him nice experience but regular would be just the same, I guess. When we arrived it was 15 minutes before the 2:15 screening time, we went straight to the Coca-Cola and Popcorn station, we got free Coke each and I bought one popcorn, we shared and its delicious. I like it.
We went to Hall 2, they checked our tickets…let us in and they gave us 3D glass es. Only few people where there inside the hall, maybe its because Transformers are being shown for 2 weeks already…but still great that we made it, its one of the movie that CJ wanted to watch! The seats were great, I love it. The place was clean!
Transformers III: Dark of the Moons runtime was 152 minutes. It is about the Autobots learn of a Cybertronian spacecraft hidden on the Moon, and race against the Decepticons to reach it and to learn its secrets.
Over-all it was a good movie, plus awesome sound system…we really enjoyed watching it. I hope we can watch again before we move. CJ had a great time, he says its so cool…I’m happy he enjoyed watching it.
And oh, everything went ok until the guy seating in front of us answered a phone call and he talks so loud, like competing with the sound inside the theater, its really disturbing but I was happy that the staff, talked to him and he stopped! Good…
Also, a staff took a picture of me and CJ at Transformers wall, thanks to her, she’s so kind to volunteer!
X-Men are still being shown but ending tonight, I guess!
Transformers III, Kung Fu Panda 2, and Thor are all being shown simultaneously in their 3halls.
