Buildings Around Us…

Some shots taken by K, when we went to our friend’s house on the 39th floor over the holiday and here are some of it. You can call it somehow as a Bangkoks’ Skyline!

These are from one side and beyond…

And on the other side, you can see the Benjakiti Park with its man-made lake and our little place in between two towering buildings: Somerset Hotel and Mayfair Garden…

But these buildings are still not enough…constructions everywhere!

I feel so crowded seeing all these buildings around although it reminds me of Makati City, a place where I was born, grew-up and still our home every time we are in Philippines.

Luckily, there are two big parks to enjoy around our area: Benchasiri and Benjakiti Park that are both walking distance. Nevertheless, I love our current location…wherein everything is walkable such as my son’s school, mall, supermarket, restaurants, subway, skytrain, etc. Just lovely…

  1. It’s nice to live where everything is a walking distance. That’s what our location is now too and hubby wants to give up all that in order to have a big land. Not happening just yet hahaha..

  2. such a huge city, great you have a nature park nearby to relax and unwind when congestion overwhelms you sometimes.

  3. Skyscrapers abound wherever part of the globe we are. I personally have a love/hate relationship with their existence. I love the view when I’m in one and I so don’t like the environmental problems they cause.

  4. I love Bangkok and seeing the skyline reminded me of our short and always pleasant trip there. I’m looking forward to the next visit and I always make sure we book our hotel near MBK – my fave shopping destination in BKK :)

  5. Parang nakakalula naman ang taas kung saan kinuha ang pictures sis. I am actually afraid of heights but I appreciate views from the Skyline.

I never been to BKK but i looks like a progressive country. My sister and I considered visiting the place someday. Sana matuloy para makapag EB tau. LOL

  6. Wow, that seems to explain how many people are living there. I have lots of classmates who are now teaching there in Thailand and they seemed to have survived and blended in well:)

  7. Seems like you’re enjoying where you are located. I can’t blame you as there is nothing that beats accessibility.

  8. Ay parang Ayala lang. Ask ko lang ‘clean air’ pa ba dyan sa place nyo. seems this is a commercial district so possible na huge volume of cars dyan.

  9. Parang Makati nga lang talaga sya =) Maganda po ba ang Thailand? Gusto ko hanapin si Mario Maurer jan.. Hehehe..

Thailand is one of the countries in Asia that I would love to visit someday =)

  10. wow, really nice view sis…I would love to live in a high rise place…ganda kasi nang view…seems like you can see everything below.

ako naman sis ayaw ko sa high rise…natatkot ako, eh, thinking about fire, earthquake! hehehe. sa ngayon we are on the fifth floor. this was just taken from our friends unit in 39th floor. :) but you’re right, really nice to be up there, :)

  11. You’ve found a perfect place :) Imagine, two parks in your area na walking distance lang. Sobrang ganda naman dyan..
