Thanks God and for your prayers, our flight was smooth…and kids did really well on the plane. I am happy about it, good start!

We arrived half past 6pm, and took us long time to get our luggage bag but nevertheless, we are all excited to go out.

And happy to see Mama, Papa and Gelo (my only brother) waiting for us…kids are happy to, no tantrums for Isabelle, she’s in happy mood!

But it was traffic…traffic and traffic, its everywhere. Hehehe!

Anyway, our family went straight to Market!Market! (that’s nearest mall to our house) to have dinner, we ate at Kenny Roger’s! Thanks to my brother for the treats… we had Rib and Chicken Sampler, its yummy, complete with rice, side dish and muffins!

kids with Mama and Papa…

Well, I am happy to be back home…and see family! :) Its time to hit the sack now, its been a long day and I need energy for tomorrow. Goodnight, everyone!

Quick Post:

Flying to Manila today, waking up early to do some errands, yes, I still have few things to do! :) But I am now ready…and kids are! We are excited.

K still went to work but will be back here by 11am then we will all go to airport, its only me and the kids flying today, so I hope Philippines Airlines will be good to us specially that I will be traveling with my two beautiful kids. K will follow next Saturday, 24th of December!

We will miss Daddy for sure but at the same time, we are excited to be back and see our dear family again! We will be leaving Bangkok at 2pm and arriving in Manila at 6:20pm.

Mama and Papa, see you at the Terminal 2…*smile*

Anyway, please pray for our safe and smooth flight…thank you!

Have a great Friday, everyone!

And tomorrow, kids and I will be flying-out to Manila…its been 1 year and 7 months since we last been there. We are all excited, my family are excited too!

I am 98% done with packing…but its been 15 days since December starts, where I have been those days, I hav’t blogged at all! I really, really, really need to get going…I need to earn! hehehe!

Anyway, November’s busy month and scary month for me because of the flood threats around Bangkok but thanks God, everything turns out good and things are getting better around here! Also last November 19 when CJ turns 9, I got a big boy already and he is still sweet as he is and keep growing as wonderful son. I will be posting about his birthday separately, its just simple one but a happy day for him as he enjoyed our visit to Planetarium! Daddy also went to the field for a week, so its just me and the kids then. We celebrated Loy Krathong at Benjasiri Park with Bo and Ae, it was great to do that festival and that deserves separate post also!

First two weeks of December was all fun…Dad turns a year older, his birthday is same with Thailand’s King, its holiday and we was able to enjoy the long weekend. We attended K’s company Christmas Party, it was great to see them again after meeting few at the BBQ Party we had last month! We also processed our visa, it was bitter-sweet but we are happy still! But the most important thing was, K passed the probation period…thanks God and Congrats, mahal…we are so proud of you! Also we got CJ’s portfolio and it was all good, well done CJ. His Progress Report was excellent, we are proud of you son! Then they had Christmas Assembly/Concert yesterday, he did well…Isabelle said after the show was: “Well done, Kuya!”—from a proud sister, isn’t she sweet? And today, they had the Christmas Party, Isabelle and I joined the Bandicoots Party!

Oh, we also do regular playdate every Thursday in Ingrid and Zhongyao’s place…swimming after school and play at the playground—my kids loving it! Ingrid’s (Zhongyao’s mum) been so good with us, she’s a wonderful friend…I am happy to know her! But last Sunday, we all went to Tara and Liya’s Swimming Party…Tara is CJ’s classmate and Liya is her sister but sad because they are leaving Bangkok for good, and going back to Australia. I wish the family all the best!

Anyway, hope to keep you posted about our vacation in Philippines and to post previous things happened to us here in Bangkok. We’ve been here for 4 months…and we are loving it!

See you around!

Before the month ends, let me share with you our last Halloween experience.  Ssshhhh…I know its too late. Well, I miss everyone and hope to get back into the groove.

Anyway, we are lucky to get invited by friends to joined Halloween Party at Millenium Residence, so thanks again to Ingrid and Feliani!

My kids really had fun and what nice was Daddy was able to joined us, he came home as early as 3pm and party was 4pm…its our first time. They dressed-up, CJ wore a Master Crypt costume while Isabelle’s wearing a Halloween Fairy Dress…

They both had great time getting some threats around the area…and enjoyed the games. CJ won one! Lucky boy. Isabelle was bit scared with other kids wearing scary costume but she had fun running around.

It all started at the Lobby of Tower D and kids walked all the way to the playground area near Tower B, which is beautifully set-up with decors and balloons. Lots of different candies too.

Lastly, kids gamely joined with the Piñata…it was a blast when its exploded, candies and kids everywhere! And to end the fun, they had pictures all together.

One more, here are the goodies they got…lucky kids but yes, those candies are still candies until now, they are not just into candies but enjoyed getting then! Its a lot, what you think?

So, here’s my late Halloween post…at least just before November ends, hehehe, and it  will be tomorrow! Waahhhh….

Have a great Tuesday, everyone!

Kids got invited to attend Kids Halloween Party at the Millenium Residences here at Sukhumvit last October 28, thanks to a new friend Ingrid and Feliani.

They said there will be 20 kids, so I was thinking of what treats to give them and I come up with these little thing…

…with an almond cookie, chocolate and a lollipop, put them together in a foil packaging and I printed a Halloween logo. I got the printable  logo for free at Shindig Parties On The Go, you can check their website here, I love them!

I find it cute and yes, of course, its budget-friendly. Well, I hope kids at the party loves it and they enjoyed having one each for I only prepared 20.

Anyway, we enjoyed the party and we got a lot of goodies and stuff, my kids had fun and I will be posting about it next…

How about you, how was your Halloween? Did you dressed-up and got a lot of goodies? Share it with me…and hope to see you around!

Thanks God for it but I really feel sorry for those people who are into that situation and suffering, hope it will over soon and things here will get back to normal.

I honestly worried about it with all the news I am hearing here…also, our family back in Philippines makes me worry because they are worried by getting exaggerated news and it worries them, such as dam will be open and all of Bangkok will be flooded and Filipinos are advised to leave the country, things like that. So, from time to time, I am assuring them we are ok. Thanks to Skype it helps.

Anyway, for weeks now…we are ready if ever we get flooded, we got those basics but still we can never tell. Aside from goodies that range from nuts, dried fruits, canned goods, noodles, biscuits, etc. K also bought some stuffs…

And since water bottle is still hard to get, I was lucky that a Thai friend bought me some and I was able to get purified water from the hotel that I stored in a container, just in case worst comes to worst!

We also bought some basic medicines specially that we have 2 kids and some other basic stuff that we can use if ever. Plus the fact that we are still staying in a hotel, I feel safer, our room is on 4th floor and asks the owner many times if we are safe, he said we are and they have enough supplies…he even assured me that I will still be eating my breakfast everyday!

But yes I am not looking forward to used these things for emergency…but just handy to have them around.

Anyway, I feel safer now and with God but please keep praying for Thailand and its people, it will be very much appreciated.. This is our new home and I feel sorry for what’s happening now…God help Thailand, its people and us.

Every year, our family’s celebrating All Saint’s Day…by visiting cemetery to pay respect and pray for our departed family members but for 4 years now, I can’t do that on the day they do it in Philippines which is November 1, its big in Philippines…but yeah, if I’m home and I can, I make sure to visit and light a candle for them.

So, for the past 4 years, I am still lighting candles! For the last 3 years, I am doing it just outside our door in Phnom Penh. But this year, I did it inside our hotel room here in Bangkok…this time I did it with the kids and K, we say a little prayer for their souls!

Perhaps they are not the stars, but rather openings in Heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know that they are happy.

The angels are always near to those who are grieving, to whisper to them that their love ones are safe in the hand of God. _Eileen Elias Freeman

How do you celebrate the occasion? Come and share it with me.

and its now November, time flies so fast…where I am those days I havn’t posted and its just like yesterday when we moved from Phnom Penh to Bangkok but we’ve been here for almost 3 months now.

Halloween is over and kids had fun, I’m happy that we’ve got invited at Millenium Residences to attend their Halloween Party…thanks to Ingrid and Feliani for your kind hearts!

Now, its time to turn our thoughts to everything we are grateful for…Thanksgiving is coming soon!

But on the 19th, CJ will be 9, he is now big little boy but will always be my baby..he’s growing so fast and I can say, oh yeah, I’m a mum, he’s growing to be a young fine man! Advance Happy Birthday CJ…we love you heaps! And I am thankful that he is a wonderful boy.

We also started looking for a bigger place, we decided not to rush or move right away because of the threat of flooding, at least in our current hotel, we are at home already and people are really nice and caring! I love them…how I wish they have room with kitchen  and things that a serviced apartment can give.

K’s been away every two weeks, visiting camps between Thailand and Burma border…he is enjoying his job! :) Last Sunday, I finally met his two workmates…we had a great dinner at Soi 8 Restaurant at Soi 8, thanks Martin and Andrea for a lovely night!

And yes, we are all doing great…no classes for almost two weeks now due to floods but thanks God our area’s not flooded (yet) as of now and I hope it will be over soon, I really feel sorry for those affected…

As we say our prayer every night with the kids, we always thanks God for all the blessings!

I am wishing everyone a great November, one more month and it will be December…next thing I know its 2012 already.

Have a great month, everyone!

Posting this late but still would like to share what we saw at the exhibit that was held last October 7-17, 2011 at The Emporium titled The Myth of Pandora: Flora and Fauna Exotica 2011…that I posted HERE!

Anyway, there are section that are scattered around the mall…some we wasn’t able to see but lucky to see other section!

Emporium Parc: where you will be amazed with the mystifying bat cave and beauty of birds such as marvelous White Peacocks, elegant Black and Mute Swan, and Charming Mandarin Ducks!

Le Jardin de Fleur: where you will be stunned with the many kinds of chirping birds which are really gorgeous and a flower garden paradise…

Unveil The Secret Paradise: where we was able to see the only Eurasian Eagle Owl and Golden Eagle in Thailand. They said there’s also a Hidden Paradise Multimedia Exhibition that presents the wonders of nature in Thailand and around the world, which we was not able to see! Also, a 3D movie “Vision of Nature” that will excite you like a real experience.

And we saw these along the hallway around Emporium…

The Myth of Pandora: where you can unleash your imagination with a giant root bridge and be excited with the mysterious animal around the world. This was inspired by the Living Root Bridge in India.

The Underwater Wonder: where we was able to see wondrous underwater world with its amazing marine life.

The Magnique Paradise: where you will be dazzled with the spectacularly beautiful flower art.

My Organic Gardening: they have gardening workshop, all pots and plans are recyclable  as they are made from banana leaves.

There are also mascots around the mall…too sad Isabelle’s scared with them, so only CJ had pictures with these two.

And lastly, when we are finished going around and about to go home, we saw a booth with plants for give-away, without thinking twice, I get one…not for me but for the hotel because they love plants and flowers…

We really enjoyed our trip there and kids are happy some new kinds of animals that they don’t know such as Chinchilas, look like in-between a rabbit and a squirrel…and more that I wasn’t able to take photo with. But YES, it was a fun day…

Lastly, they amazed us by the beauty of natural wonders of floral marvels and astonishing creatures. And with my kids seeing this, I hope they will be inspired to help preserve nature and the environment for generations to come, well not just my kids but me and the rest of all people who’ve seen it. I HOPE…

Have a great week, everyone!

Having lunch these days is sometimes late for me specially if Isabelle have something else, unlike before that I am cooking and K used to go home for lunch, we are eating together! But  now that we are here in Bangkok that routine changed. We cannot have lunch together on weekdays…CJ’s also in school and he has his own set of lunch provided to them.

Buying packed foods or eating-out is our only option for now because we don’t have our own kitchen yet, I cannot cook anything (I really miss it!). And since we are having complimentary breakfast everyday…sometimes, I still wait for CJ for all of us to have lunch together. CJ finished school by 2pm so, its either we go straight from school to somewhere or go home and I will just get take-away or just depends to the weather! Its been raining here in Bangkok…

Anyway, one of those not so lazy days to go to The Emporium – Food Hall, we usually have these two lunch favorites:

Stewed Pork Leg with Boiled Egg…

HongKong Fried Rice…

We really love it, I can’t count how many times we had it already but yes, stewed pork leg is really delicious and we just love how tender the pork is…plus the fried rice is already enough for a meal, these two always makes us full and what great is Isabelle loves it, too!
